Prominent Exhibition Status and Vast Caspian Energy Prospects
Initiated by the President of Azerbaijan and leaders of Caspian Sea countries, COG has been directly organized by the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) since 1994. Over the years, the exhibition has become the core exchange platform for the energy sector in the Caspian Sea region, with the President of Azerbaijan attending annual events, fully demonstrating its strategic importance.
According to the 2024 report of SOCAR, the Caspian Sea region has proven oil reserves of 48 billion barrels, accounting for 3.5% of the global total, and natural gas reserves exceeding 5.4 trillion cubic meters, making it a new growth pole for global energy. Relying on cross-border transportation networks such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and open policies, Azerbaijan is emerging as the core hub of the Eurasian energy corridor. Since 2021, the Caspian block has attracted over $41 billion in foreign investment. The "Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli" oil field has cumulatively produced 546 million tons of oil and 50 billion cubic meters of natural gas, with recoverable reserves reaching 1.072 billion tons, continuously releasing development potential. Large-scale energy projects, such as the "Dostlug" oil field jointly developed by Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan and the "Shah Deniz" Phase II project led by BP (with an investment of $21 billion), continue to inject vitality into the regional energy market, making this COG exhibition highly regarded by the global energy industry.
Joint Participation: Complementary Advantages Showcase Strengths
Hebei is collaborating with the local agent ICSS in Azerbaijan to participate in the exhibition jointly this time. The two sides fully leveraged their respective advantages to provide comprehensive and high-quality pipeline equipment solutions for oil and gas development in the Caspian region. With years of deep cultivation in pipeline equipment manufacturing, Hebei Pipeline Equipment has profound technical accumulation and rich project experience, with products covering the entire industrial chain of oil and gas exploration, production, and transportation. It holds a leading position in R&D of high-end pipeline materials and design/manufacturing of pipeline systems for complex working conditions. As a professional agent (deeply rooted in) the energy market in Azerbaijan for years, ICSS has an in-depth understanding of local energy project requirements, policies, regulations, and market environments, and has established a complete local service network and customer resource system. At this exhibition, the jointly arranged booth of Hebei Pipeline Equipment and ICSS presented a series of cutting-edge pipeline equipment and customized solutions to global visitors through intuitive displays and professional explanations.

Significant Exhibition Participation: Boosting Corporate Internationalization
Hebei Pipeline Equipment's participation in this COG exhibition carries multiple important significances. On the one hand, the exhibition platform enables the company to directly engage with core clients, including SOCAR, international oil majors, and local engineering contractors, to deeply understand the actual needs and future plans of oil and gas development projects in the Caspian region, accurately connect with the market, and further expand its market share in Azerbaijan and the broader Caspian Sea region, opening up a broader international market space for its products and services. On the other hand, the exhibition gathers top global energy enterprises and cutting-edge technologies, allowing the company to gain insights into new industry trends and technologies, exchange ideas with international peers, learn from advanced experiences, and continuously promote technological innovation and product upgrading to enhance its core competitiveness in the international market. Meanwhile, the joint participation with local agent ICSS further deepens the cooperative relationship, laying a solid foundation for building a closer and more efficient regional marketing and service network.
Future Cooperation Vision: Co-constructing a New Energy Industry Ecosystem
During the exhibition, the teams from Hebei Pipeline Equipment and ICSS conducted extensive and in-depth negotiations and exchanges with clients and partners, receiving numerous cooperation intentions and positive feedback. In the future, the company will rely on ICSS's local resource advantages to deeply participate in various Caspian energy development projects led by Azerbaijan, providing comprehensive Chinese leading pipeline equipment technologies and solutions for the upgrading of existing pipeline facilities and the construction of new oil and gas field pipeline systems. The two sides also plan to establish a joint R&D center and regional service base in Azerbaijan to strengthen local technical R&D and after-sales operation and maintenance capabilities, quickly respond to market demands, and improve customer satisfaction. Through continuous investment and collaborative innovation, Hebei Pipeline Equipment and ICSS aim to create a complete energy pipeline industry ecosystem integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service in Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea region, contributing to the efficient and sustainable development of the regional energy industry while writing a new chapter for Chinese pipeline equipment enterprises on the international energy cooperation stage.
